Realistic Automotive VHF-TV Sound and Weather Converter 12-1354
 

Vintage circa 1974, used VHF converter, mounts under card dash. This was designed to allow folks in the  '70s to listen to VHF TV sound and Weather audio. Plug your car antenna into the converter, then run the lead from the converter into the car antenna input on your AM/FM radio.

In the 1970s an owner of this convertor could:

  • Listen to their favorite TV program while you drive
     
  • Hear football,baseball or their favorite soap opera in their car
     
  • Tune TV1: Channels 2 thru 6
     
  • Tune TV2: Channels 7 thru 13
     
  • Tunes WX: 162.40 - 162.55 MHz (weather channels)
     
  • 12VDC negative ground

Note: This was designed to work on the old, analog TV audio systems and as such, may not work with modern digital audio TV sound.  This unit is used, in good working condition. Slight scuffs on faceplate. Mounting hardware is not included. A nice piece of auto nostalgia from the 70s!
