Very rare 1st edition hardback! Purchased in Scotland in 1964, and carefully shipped to the USA. Published in Great Britain 1964 by Frederick Muller Limited, London. There's about 10 or so very nice illustrations scattered throughout the book, drawn by artist Arnold Schwartzman. 157 pages.

Book is in very good condition. Jacket is fair. Pages are cream colored, with no rips or smudges. Inside the cover there is an ink inscription from 1964. One or two small stains inside the cover.

The book jacket is covered with plastic wrap, and has a few tears. Plastic is secured by a few pieces of tape on the back inside of the jacket. (see photos)
